CLINICALLY-BACKED FORMULATION
LipiLoss Lipolysis incorporates the use of a clinically-backed lipolytic (fat-burning) formulation which is delivered subcutaneally (or gastrically) into the targeted treatment areas. The lipolytic substance is absorbed into the body, and operates to break down fat cells. During LipiLoss Lipolysis, body areas with unwanted fat/cellulite are treated by way of the following treatment modalities:

• (i) Ultrasonic LipiLoss: similar to ultrasound assisted liposuction (UAL), ultrasonic LipiLoss is performed with the assistance of ultrasound to extra-corporally breakdown unwanted fat at the level of the cell
• (ii) LipiLoss-IR: is the use of infrared light technology during LipiLoss Lipolysis to treat cellulite and fat
• (iii) LipiLoss-RF: is the use of radio frequency during LipiLoss Lipolysis to treat cellulite and fat.

HEALTH CANADA & FDA-APPROVED DEVICES
LipiLoss uses Health Canada and FDA-approved medical devices to extra-corporally breakdown fat cells within the body, without the need for making surgical incisions. The technology used in LipiLoss is not only non-invasive, but virtually pain-free, and they operate to target fat and cellulite at the level of the cell.

IS LIPILOSS THE SAME AS MESOTHERAPY?
No. There are no clinical studies supporting the efficacy of Mesotherapy. Moreover, mesotherapy has no consistency in its formulation and therefore no consistency in its results. LipiLoss, on the other hand is a stabilized formulation developed strictly based on the results of clinical studies, is delivered subcutaneally (or gastrically) and uses Health Canada and or FDA-approved medical devices which helps to extra-corporally target fat at its cellular level. Aside from common syringes, no Health Canada or FDA-approved medical device is typically used in performing mesotherapy.

HOW IS LIPILOSS DIFFERENT FROM LIPOSUCTION?
Like liposuction, LipiLoss involves the use of Health Canada and FDA-approved medical devices to assist in the procedure. Unlike Liposuction, LipiLoss Lipolysis does not involve the making of surgical incisions, there is no bandages, no anaesthesia and no recovery-time and you are able to return to your normal activities immediately. LipiLoss Lipolysis is effective for treating cellulite as well as fat, wheares liposuction is not effective for cellulite treatment. LipiLoss Lipolysis is only effective in treating small areas of adipose/fat accumulation; persons who have larger areas of fat to remove will typically obtain better results from surgical liposuction. Also, LipiLoss Lipolysis sculpts fat gradually over a series of treatments - the LipiLoss protocol typically require ongoing treatments to achieve and maintain desired results.
