How To Maximize Your LipiLoss™ Results

What is LipiLoss™?

LipiLoss is a non-surgical, non-drug alternative to liposuction. LipiLoss is used to sculpt away stubborn patches of  fat/cellulite, and to assist in weight-loss programs. LipiLoss is used to sculpt fat and cellulite in the following areas:

  • Thighs
  • Love handles
  • Hips
  • Double chins
  • Tummy
  • Or any other area with unwanted pockets of fat

Can Anyone Get the Procedure?

No. Most persons are candidates for LipiLoss, however the procedure is not suitable if your are pregnant, have a history of cancer or are a diabetic/pre-diabetic or suffer from liver disease, kidney problems or have any form of lupus or widespread skin disease (skin cancer, eczema, etc.) or thyroid disease.

What is the Difference Between LipiLoss™ and Liposuction
This is a very popular question. The first thing to note is that LipiLoss™ is not surgery, whereas liposuction is surgery and tend to be more costly. There is significant post-operative discomfort that can come with liposuction, whereas the discomfort with lipiloss is mild and usually requires either nothing or a mild painkiller for no more than 24 hours. LipiLoss™ focuses on mobilizing fat from the fat cells, rather than removal of the fat cells, as is done in liposuction. If a liposuction client does not stick to a healthy lifestyle involving diet and exercise, then they do regain fat generally in a different area from where it was removed during the operation.

For example, a patient that had liposuction on the hips and buttocks may regain the weight on the neck and shoulders. With LipiLoss™, if a patient does not adhere to a healthy lifestyle of proper eating and exercise, they will regain fat in the same location where lipiloss had been performed.

Liposuction is done in one visit, whereas LipiLoss™ is typically performed over a series of sessions, usually averaging about 10 to 12, depending on the site being worked upon.

Are the Results Permanent?

Results can be long-lasting, however, improper exercise and diet do impact on the length of your results.

Are the treatments Painful?

As with any injectable procedure and subject to your sensitivity, some moderate pain or discomfort may be experienced, with some self-limited bruising afterwards. Usually, pain may be treated with ice and or Motrin. Anesthetic cream is used, as are other modalities of effective pain control.

How To Maximize Your LipiLoss™ Results?

Combining healthy eating and exercise habits with LipiLoss™ results in the best visible improvement. Like liposuction, lipiloss cannot compensate for an unhealthy lifestyle.
